Guidance for embedding digital media in your website or VLE

Click on a title link or thumbnail picture to view the relevant media on the site. The watch page will open.

Notice that to the right of the media there are two fields labelled Link to this Page and Embed. Carefully, copy all the data in the field labelled Embed. (Scroll your mouse through all the embed code and then with it all selected on a PC right click to copy).

Login to the relevant course for which you have editing rights in your VLE (such as Moodle).

To embed your media into your 'page', select the <> icon in a new web page (or existing web page) in your VLE.

Clicking on <> will change the text entry field to CODE VIEW MODE/HTML VIEW . Once in CODE VIEW MODE, paste in the Embed the data that you copied from MoLeTV.

Click the <> icon once more (to switch back to design view) and you will see your media embedded in the blog or web page.

The screen shot above is taken from LSIS eCPD website but a similar interface may be used in your VLE (e.g. Moodle - add a new web page/or use an existing web page).

Remember to save the page you have added or edited. Media from MoLeTV will now play in your course page.
