Example video filmed with a Flip Video Mino camcorder and edited with FlipShare software
This is a video I filmed and edited following a visit to ‘The Gadget Show Live’ consumer tech show last weekend at the NEC, Birmingham. I put it together as an example video to show students how effectively the hardware and software can be used.
I individually edited each clip (most to 3 seconds) and saved them back to the Flip, then added a title and credits, music (a built-in sample), muted background sound, and saved the entire movie back to the Flip. Thus, no harddrive space was required. I’ve also uploaded the movie to YouTube directly from the Flip using FlipShare.
I used Windows Movie Maker 2.6 to reduce the .WMV video file size from 150Mb to 47Mb, to allow it to be uploaded to MoLeTV.

CapturaTalk
This video covers my observations relating to CapturaTalk version 3. CapturaTalk is a software program, installed on a mobile device, which converts text in image format into plain text, via Optical Character Recognition. The text can then be read out aloud via text-to-speech.
